How You Can Help :
Donate medical equipment items to our loan closet to be borrowed by PALS.

To donate a piece of equipment, please send us an email or call the Catfish Chapter toll free: (877) 568-4347.

We are currently accepting the following types of equipment. (Please note that we cannot accept power wheelchairs that are more than three years old...due to the difficulty in finding replacement parts for them).

Bath/Shower Equipment
Manual Mobility
Power Mobility
Bath/Shower Transfer Bench

Has two legs inside and two legs outside the tub

Manual Wheelchair - Custom

designed for a specific person, usually lightweight

Power Wheelchair-Standard 
Usually has a car style seat

Bath/Shower Sliding 
Transfer Bench

The seat slides or swivels.

Manual Wheelchair - Standard

2 small wheels in front, 2 large wheels in back, standard size

Power Wheelchair-Tilt 
custom-sized; tilts: back & seat move together.
Bath/Shower Wheelchair 
made to roll into a shower stall ; often made with PVC
Manual Wheelchair - Transport 
4 small wheels 
Power Wheelchair-Tilt and Recline 
Often has power elevating seat & leg rests
Tub Slider 
rolls along side of tub
Manual Wheelchair-Recline 
2 large wheels in back; 2 small wheels in front; back reclines back

Power Wheelchair-Alternate Drive

Has 4 wheels

(Custom sized; tilts: back & seat move together)
